Summer 2026 Internship - May 26 - August 14 Morrisville, NC - 100% onsite - Local Candidates Only Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursing a master degree. Must not have graduated before September 2026. This is an opportunity to join and learn from a top-notch Power Design Team within Renesas Electronics America’s leading power management product line. Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled full time in a university degree program pursing a master degree. Must not have graduated before September 2026
  • MSEE or equivalent with coursework in analog electronics.
  • Understanding of basic electronic circuits (amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC, etc.).
  • Experience with industry-standard simulation tools (e.g. SPICE, MATLAB, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot circuits.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Lab experience with circuit testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design of analog and power integrated circuits.
  • Hands-on block level design from specification to clean database.
  • Interface with layout, verification, test, product and application engineers to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release to production.
  • Participate in discussions and draft documents of technical issues and other design aspects with internal teams and customers.
  • Instigate regular peer reviews with other analog engineers.
  • Guide the layout of circuit blocks for high-speed performance and precision operations.
  • Run block-level and top-level mixed-mode simulations to meet datasheet parameters.
  • Lab evaluation and support for circuit blocks/whole ICs.
  • Support test development and ramp to production.
