As part of one of Renesas’s most prominent BMS Design Groups, the analog design intern will work on next-generation IC products for multiple fast paced consumer, industrial and automotive markets.

Requirements

  • MSEE or equivalent with coursework in analog electronics.
  • Must not have graduated before September 2026 - Master's students only - Local candidates only
  • Understanding of basic electronic circuits (amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC, etc.).
  • Experience with industry-standard simulation tools (e.g. SPICE, MATLAB, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot circuits.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Lab experience with circuit testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design of analog and power integrated circuits.
  • Hands-on block level design from specification to clean database.
  • Interface with layout, verification, test, product and application engineers to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release to production.
  • Participate in discussions and draft documents of technical issues and other design aspects with internal teams and customers.
  • Instigate regular peer reviews with other analog engineers.
  • Guide the layout of circuit blocks for high-speed performance and precision operations.
  • Run block-level and top-level mixed-mode simulations to meet datasheet parameters.
  • Lab evaluation and support for circuit blocks/whole ICs.
  • Support test development and ramp to production
