Job Title: Intern, Construction Management/Engineering Location: 1031 E Riverview Dr., Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ 85034 What we’re looking for: AMS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Engineering Intern to join our team for hands-on experience in refrigeration construction project management. This internship is designed to provide future professionals with exposure to refrigeration construction projects, while focusing on real-world challenges and identifying opportunities where technology could streamline processes, in areas such as site surveying, cost modeling and advanced project scheduling tools. What you’ll be responsible for in this role: You will be guided by structural goals and objectives and will have a responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects. Your manager will offer coaching, mentoring, and direction.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in 4-year Engineering degree program or Construction Management or Technology degree program
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Responsibilities

  • Support one or more projects focused on process improvement and integrating emerging technologies such as site surveying, cost modeling, and advanced project scheduling tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional AMS teams to apply these tools in active refrigeration construction projects
  • Assist in analyzing project data and presenting actionable insights to improve efficiency and execution
  • Participate in project meetings, contribute to planning discussions, and help track progress against milestones
  • Document findings and prepare a presentation to communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders.
