This position provides technical leadership for the Hot Gas Path New Repair Introduction (NRI) team, focusing on rotating hardware. The role reports to the AMRT (Advanced Manufacturing and Repair Technology) NRI HGP Leader and is responsible for repair NPI, PCO, and MYA programs. The Technical Leader will collaborate closely with AMRT development teams in Greenville, Warsaw, and Singapore to deploy new technologies for repairs and upgrade modifications for heavy-duty gas turbine components across the GE Vernova Gas Turbine Fleet. This role also involves working with RVS Leadership, Gas Turbine Engineering, Product Line, and Customer Service Engineering to address fleet issues. The position requires providing appropriate communication to GE Gas Power management on program progress, challenges, and accomplishments, and maintaining a culture of safety, integrity, compliance, and engineering discipline. The leader is expected to understand, model, and integrate the AMRT culture into the broader GE Vernova culture, assist in developing an inspirational leadership organization, and coach team members. They will lead the search for high-impact engineering projects, participate in key initiatives beyond their components (including network, organizational, and business practice strategies), and mentor their team in design, analysis, or evaluation of projects using sound engineering principles. Collaboration with design engineering for design reviews and ensuring technical data documentation consistency with engineering policies are also key. The role acts as a technical or domain resource, providing training to interfacing groups, and emphasizes personal and team learning to solve business problems.
