ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Troubleshooting AMOS issues and working with Swiss-AS to create solutions. 2. Creating user and user roles (access rights) definition and setup. 3. Configuration and control of the appropriate jobs within AMOS. 4. Identifying, analyzing, and testing AMOS patches and new releases. 5. Planning, coordinating, and deploying AMOS upgrades and patches. 6. Setting up and configuring hardware connected to AMOS. Eg. printers, scanners, barcode scanners, etc… 7. Initial basic system set up (basic data) and the setup of basic data for upcoming applications and integration with those systems. 8. First contact person for any AMOS related end-user or key-user issues/problems. 9. Support case handling / classification (fault/bug logging, handling of new/enhanced functionality requests). 10. Serves as the point of contact for Swiss-AS to communicate with the customer. 11. Plans and manages user acceptance tests (UAT) together with the key and end users. 12. Can ensure that application errors are clearly differentiated from system, hardware, and network problems in order to communicate with the correct support entity to resolve the issue(s). 13. Works with other AMOS Administrators regarding system performance and functionality of the interfaces for third-party applications (including forwarding of feedback from the users). 14. Monitors the different application environments (training, testing, production, etc…) to ensure that key users and trainers can fulfill their tasks (testing, training, etc…) including the configuration of the different environments.
