ERMCO is looking for a Machine Operator in our Amorphous Core Annealing department 1st shift. Amorphous core annealing including loading and unloading racks, cycle preparation, starting and monitoring cycles, and general material handling.
Requirements
- High School/GED or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience.
- must have basic computer skills.
- both verbal and written a must.
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Nice To Haves
- Excel skills: preferred
- Forklift Operation. Training and certification available
Responsibilities
- Operate furnace to anneal AM cores.
- Record furnace data
- Monitor furnace temperature, atmosphere, and DC bus status.
- Load cores onto racks Finish
- Load/unload racks from furnace loader
- Place thermocouples in cores
- Clean bus bar ends
- Assemble bus bar in load.
- Operate furnace loader.
- Assist with moving pallets of plates.
- Maintain consistent product placement and integrity.
- Maintain accuracy and productivity levels.
- Assist with forming.
