About The Position

To operate and maintain the industrial refrigeration system for a turkey processing plant. The technician position applies for individuals with mechanical aptitude and ambition to continue a career in the refrigeration field. Installation and repair of industrial refrigeration equipment in accordance to blueprints and engineering specs. Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM). Provide preventive maintenance to the ammonia systems. Knowledge of Frick screw and reciprocating computer systems and ice making systems. Maintain logs and paperwork Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and promote a safe work environment for self and coworkers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration
• Able to work flexible start times and rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English
• Able to work in hot, cold and wet environments
• Able to work in confined spaces
• Able to stand, squat and climb on a regular basis
