About The Position

HPE Financial Services is seeking an experienced Americas Factory Operations Manager to lead and optimize operations for customer product IT returns, refurbishment, and resale. Returns contain a range of IT equipment such as enterprise servers, storage solutions and workplace equipment. This role is critical in supporting HPE sustainability initiatives and enabling investment capacity solutions for customers and partners. Management Level Definition: Applies expert subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving most complex business/technical issues within established policies. Manages activities of exempt individual contributors (typically Expert/Master) and/or MG1s. Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization. Plans, manages, and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members.

Requirements

• First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
• Typically, 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function (or related fields).
• Typically, 2-4 years of people management experience.
• Operations Expertise: Proven experience in operations management, preferably in IT asset disposition or reverse logistics, with strong understanding of demand and supply planning processes, business operations, and strategy.
• Performance & Process Management: Expertise in TAT measurement, cost control, and process optimization. Excellent analytical thinking, data modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership & People Development: Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, conflict resolution, and workforce development in a virtual and global environment. Ability to develop and lead diverse teams across multiple locations.
• Project & Risk Management: Excellent project management skills, including time and risk management, and project structuring.
• Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including advanced negotiation, presentation, and influence skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences; mastery in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Technical Renewal Center (TRC) Management: Direct operations at the Andover, MA facility, ensuring productivity and operational excellence.
• End-of-Lease & ITAD Operations: Manage customer product returns processing, ensuring efficient handling and compliance with standards.
• Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) & Secondary Market Resale: Oversee resale channels to maximize value recovery and maintain quality assurance.
• Vendor Oversight: Supervise processing sites across the Americas, ensuring adherence to HPE standards and performance metrics.
• Turnaround Time (TAT) Measurement & Improvement: Establish and monitor TAT metrics for product returns, refurbishment, and resale. Implement strategies to reduce cycle times and improve customer satisfaction.
• Cost Control & Efficiency: Drive cost optimization initiatives across operations, balancing quality and profitability. Monitor budgets and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service levels.
• People Development & Leadership: Build and develop high-performing teams. Provide coaching, training, and career development opportunities to foster engagement and growth.
• Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability
