About The Position

The Nursing Manager will provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of back office clinical operations across 5 orthopedic and pain management sites and Revive Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care through effective policy development, clinical training, operational oversight, and schedule/template management. The ideal candidate brings perioperative or surgical nursing experience, strong interpersonal leadership, and a track record of operational excellence in multi-site environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience considered.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Active RN license in Georgia.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in clinical leadership, with experience in orthopedic, pain, or surgical settings.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and engage clinical teams in a multi-site environment

Nice To Haves

  • Perioperative or surgical nursing experience highly preferred
  • Experience with Athena EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and oversight to back-office support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
  • Manages schedule and back-office clinic support staff coverage.
  • Lead clinical operations across outpatient practice and ASC settings
  • Oversee back-office workflows to ensure efficiency, compliance, and quality outcomes
  • Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and protocols alignment with state, federal and accreditation guidelines.
  • Manage staff onboarding, ongoing training, and clinical competency validation
  • Coordinate provider scheduling and template optimization across all locations
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (e.g., AAAHC, CMS, OSHA)
  • Collaborate with physicians, administrative leadership, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous clinical improvement
  • Manage daily operations of the surgery center in accordance with clinical practice standards.
  • Ordering of pharmacy, supplies and other services as needed.
  • Responsible for hiring, staffing logistics, employee performance, education, training, and competency
  • Oversee accreditation and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead Performance improvement, quality oversight and infection prevention program.
  • Negotiates and maintains service contracts and vendor relationships.
  • Maintains credentialing files and facilitates peer review processes.
  • Ensures adherence to policies and procedures of the surgery center.
  • Provides ongoing assessment and nursing care to patients in the facility with physician orders, policies, procedures and processes withing the nursing scope of practice.
