About The Position

Job Summary The Surgery Center Account Manager manages the relationship with existing accounts. Responsible for managing a book of business for existing accounts and generating revenue on assigned accounts. Serve as the primary interface for all products and services and create demand for the organization's products and services. Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with a defined customer base to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Job Description Medline has a need for an experience B2B field sales or field based account manager in the Columbia, SC area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience
  • Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment
  • Ability to present multiple product lines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Due to the nature of an outside sales representative position, the ability to drive a car, travel in that car 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on site is required

Responsibilities

  • Calling on ambulatory surgery centers within assigned territory.
  • Making sales presentations to multiple decision-makers
  • Establishing and nurturing client relationships
  • Developing strong relationships with key decision makers
  • Maintaining existing business and presenting new products
  • Preparing bids and price quotes
  • Regular cold calling
