Requirements

High School diploma or GED from an accredited program
3+ months of experience in answering a telephone system
6+ months of customer service experience
Demonstrated PC and keyboarding skills
Ability to deliver excellent customer service with a courteous, compassionate and friendly demeanor
Proven excellent telephone etiquette and active listening skills delivered with clear tone of voice
Fluent in English, verbal and written

Nice To Haves

Associate in related field
1+ years of experience in answering a multi-line telephone system
1+ years of customer service experience
Demonstrated familiarity with PBX online reporting system
Experience with EMR/Epic, Word, Excel and familiarity with medical terminology
Bilingual-English/Spanish

Responsibilities

Responsible to handle and direct incoming calls to the correct individual or department in a courteous and friendly manner
Responsible to assist with medical records functions and general clerical tasks
Maintain a neat and professional appearance and an organized work area
