Primary Responsibilities: The Physician Gastroenterology is responsible for: Consulting with patients to understand their health concerns Performing specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients Evidence-based approach with appropriate use of endoscopic procedures, CT scan, MRI, Ultrasound, and other tests Shared Hospital Call and Office Call required What makes an Optum Career different? Kelsey-Seybold offers quality medical care in 65 medical specialties. The organization operates the largest freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Center in Texas. It offers state-of-the-art Varian TrueBeam and Varian Edge radiation therapy technology at a nationally accredited Cancer Center. Its comprehensive offerings include an accredited Sleep Center, comprehensive laboratory services, advanced imaging and diagnostics, and on-site Kelsey Pharmacy locations. Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD, DO, M.B.B.S)
  • Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
