About The Position

Job Summary ◦ This pharmacist position is responsible for patient care activities including clinical pharmacy services to patients receiving ambulatory care services at CoxHealth. The practice location will be focused on outpatient care areas. Additional responsibilities and teaching experiences will vary based on the position outline below as well as involvement in special projects. The individual must display maturity, independence, initiative, and strong communication skills. In addition, individuals will exemplify the CoxHealth mission, vision, and values and act in accordance with CoxHealth policies and procedures

Requirements

Graduation from an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy with Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
3 years of pharmacy experience in the ambulatory or community setting OR 1 year pharmacy residency
Proficiency with direct patient care
Excellent verbal, presentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with other disciplines
Missouri Pharmacist license or eligible for licensure.
MTM/MTS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist or registry eligible and obtain within 90 days of hire
Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire
Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

Completion of a minimum of one year of pharmacy residency training
Completion of a second-year specialty residency in ambulatory care.
Ambulatory or community pharmacy experience
Certification in relevant area of practice within 4 years of starting the position
Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training
