About The Position

The Ambulatory Case Management Coordinator Lead provides telephonic, non-clinical support to patients under the direction of the Care Management Team. The role assists in executing daily care management outreach, documentation, scheduling, and coordination activities while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to organizational and HIPAA standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a physician office, clinic, IPA/Group UM, or Care Management department; training will be provided.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and professional customer service orientation.
  • Ability to follow procedures, coordinate multiple tasks, and manage documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or certification in healthcare administration, medical terminology, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting care management, medical office operations, or related patient-support environments.
  • Any combination of educational and work experience that would be equivalent to the stated minimum requirements would qualify for consideration of this position.
