This role will have an impact on Ambulatory work: patient access to care, patient throughput, patient and provider satisfaction and revenue. This position will work closely with the Contact Center, the Quality Improvement Program Coordinators, Ambulatory and Medical Administration, and Information Systems to utilize lean practices to optimize scheduling, throughput and meet organizational goals. The Manager of Ambulatory Capacity Serves in a leadership role to oversee the design, monitoring and maintenance of scheduling templates across Ambulatory. This position ensures patient-centric access to services are delivered smoothly, efficiently, and timely. The Manager collaborates with clinical and operational leadership to identify and proactively mitigate issues which create barriers to Ambulatory access and patient flow. The Manager of Ambulatory Capacity and team supports patient care access by designing, building, and managing the scheduling templates of physicians, advanced practice providers, and other clinical operations.
