About The Position

Ascension Wisconsin/ASVI is seeking a passionate and dedicated Ambulatory Internal Medicine Physician to join our team as we launch a new Internal Medicine Residency Program in July 2026. This full-time clinical faculty position will play a vital role in building and leading the ambulatory component of the residency program, working directly with residents in the clinic setting to provide high-quality patient care and education. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of medical education and healthcare delivery within our community while contributing to a new and innovative residency program. MILWAUKEE ASCENSION HOSPITALS include more than 40 clinic sites of care in Milwaukee as well as 7 owned hospitals averaging a bed size of 250-beds and 2 affiliated orthopedic hospitals, several skilled nursing facilities including the Alexian Village, ambulatory care facilities, home health care, physician practices, managed care services, and 4 cancer centers as well as standalone infusion sites. Requirements

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

  • Teaching experience is preferred, but new graduates with a strong desire to teach and lead, as well as experienced clinicians who want to move into the teaching space are encouraged to apply.
