About The Position

The AM Restaurant Server is responsible for delivering a warm, upscale dining experience to guests during morning service hours. This role includes greeting guests, taking and serving orders, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through attentive and personalized service. The AM Restaurant Server supports hotel operations by maintaining knowledge of menu items, adhering to service standards, core standards, and contributing positively to the team environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in food service, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
• TABC Certified and Food Handlers
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently, including trays of food, beverage containers, and cleaning supplies
• Ability to move quickly and safely in a fast-paced environment, including navigating around guests and other staff

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality or customer service coursework preferred
• Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant breakfast service is highly desirable
• Familiarity with point-of-sales (POS) systems and basic food safety practices is a plus
• Proficiency in Tabit POS

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining area for breakfast service
• Greet and serve guests
• Monitor and manage inventory

• Use equipment safely and report any malfunctions or safety concerns

• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards
• Ensure dining and service areas are clean and hazard-free
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
• Report any unsafe conditions immediately
