About The Position
We are looking for a skilled Prep Cook looking to work at our face-paced restaurant located in La Jolla California. Prep Cooks are a tipped position and are responsible for assisting in food preparation at Destiny Coast, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen as well as abiding by food safety regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Flexibility in scheduling and changes.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions when preparing ingredients for events.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Ensure timely execution of tasks while at events to keep to timelines.
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure the quality of food products.
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
