About The Position

Lake Toxaway at our front door, the North Carolina mountains at our back door. And in between, a gathering place and restaurant for our guests. As a Host at The Greystone Inn, you are providing our guests with a warm welcome at the front door. If you are reliable, eager-to-learn, with a friendly/positive attitude, you will be very successful in “wowâ€ing our guests. Additional responsibilities include: · Provide friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel valued · Assist guests with making reservation and guiding them to their table upon arrival · Seat the servers with an equal amount of guests · Answering the phone and able to answer all questions · Opening and closing responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Be friendly and smiling
• Good communication skills Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand throughout shift and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
• Ability to navigate steps/stairs on a regular basis
