About The Position
Southern Hops Brewing Company in Murrells Inlet, SC is seeking experienced dishwashers to add to our team! With a full kitchen that will utilize quality local ingredients, our main goal is providing our customers with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and our employees with training, support, and a great work environment with a positive culture of teamwork. Owners are local South Carolinians that strive to focus on quality craft beer and local ingredients. A Dishwasher is one of the most important jobs in the restaurant so taking the job seriously is very important A dishwasher has the opportunity to learn new stations and move up in the company if desired
Requirements
- Availability for AM or PM positions as discussed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work under the direction of the Kitchen Shift Leader or Manager
- Must move quickly and efficiently during busy shifts
Responsibilities
- Arrives for shifts on time
- Responsible to set up dishwashing and pot sink area for service
- Washes all dishes from the servers and kitchen staff
- Communicates with managers, kitchen staff, and dining room staff
- Washes worktables, walls, and work areas in the dish area
- Helps kitchen staff take out bags of garbage to dumpster
- Responsible to maintain a clean station
- Dries and puts dishes and silverware away in appropriate areas
- Keeping dishes and kitchen items organized and clean
