About The Position

Purpose within the Organization: Administration, event planning & implementation. This position supports the Sr. Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving and the Asst. Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving. Specific information is to be pasted into the job requisition which details role, hours, skills needed by hiring department. Requirements

• Full-time, degree-seeking GCU student
• Experience planning and implementing events
• Experience utilizing Asana or similar project management software
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work some nights and weekends
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Responsibilities

• Utilize project management software to track departmental events & projects
• General office administration support such as data entry, alumni & donor communications
• Respond to Alumni questions via email and phone
• Assist in planning and implementing events
• Assist with research
• Tabling at events such as commencements, home Men’s Basketball tailgates, Homecoming, Parent & Family Weekend, etc.
• Other responsibilities as needed
