About The Position

Purpose within the Organization: Administration, event planning & implementation, and tabling. This position supports the Sr. Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving and the Asst. Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving. Responsibilities Related to Purpose: General office administration support such as data entry, alumni & donor communications Respond to Alumni questions via email and phone Assist in planning and implementing events Assist with research Tabling at events such as commencements, home Men’s Basketball tailgates, Homecoming, Parent & Family Weekend, etc. Other responsibilities as needed

Requirements

  • Full-time, degree-seeking GCU student
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University
