Responsible for using mig welding equipment to fabricate or produce products.

Requirements

• Process improvement
• Attention to detail
• Operate MIG welder
• Read a tape measure
• Read work orders & prints
• Knowledge of PPE
• Complete work orders accurately
• Forklift certification
• Clear, effective communication

Responsibilities

• Strictly follow safety policies, procedures, rules and safe work methods, along with making safety suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety
• Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparing to weld
• Weld metal parts together through mig welding
• Quality control
• Grinding of material
• Keep shop clean
• Organize finished product
• Load pallets with finished product
• Learn the settings on the welding machine
• Count parts and complete work orders
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Working cooperatively with others to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
• Contribute to continuous improvement culture
• Other Duties as assigned
