At Nava, great client outcomes are driven by smart strategy and smart strategy starts with rigorous financial insight paired with a strong point of view. We’re seeking an Alternative Funding & Risk Strategy Consultant (exact title TBD) to help shape how Nava approaches self-funded and alternative funding strategies across our client base. This is not a purely analytical role. We’re looking for someone who can pair deep technical expertise with consultative judgment. Someone who understands the mechanics of self-funded plans, underwriting, and stop-loss structures, and can confidently answer not just what the numbers say, but what we should do about them. You’ll play a central role in building Nava’s alternative funding playbook, advising our Client Success and Sales teams on complex renewals and prospect strategies, and helping establish internal standards around when and how we recommend self-funding to employers.
