About The Position

What you'll be doing Contribute to the design, creation and validation of new analytical frameworks for systematically extracting insight from unstructured, raw, and alternative data sets. Design and validate models that transform data into actionable insights Iterate quickly to test the additive impact of new data and research findings on alpha generation Analyze external, alternative data sources and provide recommendations for integration and enrichment of existing data. Participate in corporate strategy initiatives which include advanced data quires and coordinating with management staff on other business management efforts.

Requirements

Advance degree in data science, statistics or computer science field
High proficiency/expert level python, SQL, and statistical languages like R strongly preferred
Ideally 3 - 5 years of experience in a data analyst related role where you applied the above educational skills (school level projects counts)
Experience in a fast-paced environment with lots of innovation, model development and iteration,
Experience testing and overall delivery of highly relevant models that will help investment professionals make informed decisions based on alternative data
Experience working on a team to build alternative data asset
Able to communicate and explain complicated topics clearly and concisely
Ability to draw insight from unstructured data
Comfortable working within a global team in various time zones

CFA designation preferred
