About The Position

Tigua Enterprises is seeking a qualified Alternate Quality Control Manager (AQCM) to support a Base Operations Support (BOS) contract for the 81st Readiness Division (RD), Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Installation Management (IM). The AQCM will support quality oversight across a geographically dispersed portfolio of 168 sites and approximately 1,250 facilities throughout the Southeastern United States and the Caribbean. Facilities include Army Reserve Centers (ARCs), Armed Forces Reserve Centers (AFRCs), Area Maintenance Support Activities (AMSAs), Equipment Concentration Sites (ECS), New Equipment Fielding Facilities (NEFFs), and Aviation Support Facilities (ASFs). The AQCM plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and maintaining functional appearance, safety, security, and environmental standards across the 81st RD Area of Responsibility (AOR). This role supports a potential contract.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years documented experience in quality control management.
  • Demonstrated experience operating independently and making timely, sound decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage an effective Quality Control Program.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify operational problems and implement economical solutions.
  • Highly proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Experience conducting professional meetings and preparing formal documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Army, DPW, or federal Base Operations Support contracts.
  • Experience with geographically dispersed facilities portfolios.
  • Familiarity with:
  • Asset management systems
  • Environmental compliance programs
  • Preventive maintenance and sustainment programs
  • Federal inspection standards
  • Knowledge of Army Reserve or Installation Management Command environments.
  • Experience with quality systems aligned with ISO 9001 or similar frameworks.
  • Ability to travel periodically within the 81st RD AOR.

Responsibilities

  • Support and implement the contract Quality Control (QC) Program in accordance with federal contract requirements.
  • Operate independently to monitor performance standards and ensure compliance with all BOS task areas.
  • Analyze organizational and operational performance issues and develop timely, practical, and cost-effective corrective actions.
  • Conduct internal inspections and audits across multi-state facilities.
  • Track and document deficiencies, corrective actions, and trend analyses.
  • Coordinate with site managers, DPW personnel, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality performance.
  • Prepare and maintain required documentation including:
  • Inspection reports
  • Checklists
  • Databases and spreadsheets
  • Performance reports
  • Studies and evaluations
  • Support customer and vendor interface functions related to quality performance.
  • Conduct professional meetings, develop memorandums of instruction (MOIs), and prepare formal written communications.
  • Assist in execution of environmental base operations, asset management, and sustainment program requirements.
  • Serve in the absence of the primary Quality Control Manager as required.
