ALS Paramedic (36 hrs/rotating)(Temple Transport Team)
About The Position
Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients, trains, and manages transport personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. Must be eligible for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required
- Basic Life Support Required
- Paramedic Certification Required
- Drivers License Required
- EMS Vehicle Operator Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 1 year experience performing critical care interfacility transport Preferred
- 3 years experience (minimum 4000 hours) in 911 or equivalent environment as an EMTParamedic Preferred
- Critical Care Paramedic Cert Preferred
- Natl Reg. Emergency Med Techs Preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Preferred
- Pediatric Adv. Life Support Preferred
- PreHospital Trauma LifeSupport Preferred
