About The Position

Alpha Platform is seeking an experienced risk manager to join our Business Risk Management (BRM) team. This role operates in a fast‑paced and rapidly growing environment. Candidates with risk management experience—particularly from G‑SIFI organizations and/or large public accounting firms—combined with strong technology risk and audit expertise, will be well positioned for success.   • Experience with Microsoft tools, Archer platform, Open Pages, Tableau, and SharePoint.

  • Preferred certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess risks and controls across business and technology processes.
  • Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness through periodic process and control reviews.
  • Self-identify and help the business identify control issues; analyze root causes; draft timely remediation plans; and monitor progress through closure.
  • Advise on risk and control design, acting as a strategic partner during the introduction of new technologies and business processes.
  • Support key business risk programs, including risk reviews, risk reporting, governance activities, issue/incident management, and control monitoring.
  • Coordinate and prepare for internal and external reviews, including 2nd line assessments, internal audits, and regulatory examinations.
  • Escalate potential violations of rules, regulations, policies, or procedures and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Manage resources to effectively execute the responsibilities outlined above.
  • Train colleagues in State Street methodologies and promote a culture of accountability and ownership across all levels of the organization.
  • Contribute to the strategic evolution of the Business Risk function.
