Vantage MedTech is seeking a highly motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented ALM Systems Analyst to join our team. The ALM Systems Analyst, is responsible for co-defining and implementing product lifecycle “processes that work” in Polarion for various clients, leveraging industry and quality management knowledge. This position works with a wide array of teams to act as a process efficiency multiplier by leveraging Polarion’s capabilities to streamline, automate, and optimize development processes across multiple client projects and lifecycles. This is a hybrid opportunity. This position is based in Lyndhurst, NJ. We do not offer relocation assistance.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills
  • Must be proactive and able to work with little or no supervision
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate to various levels of management, internal business partners, and external suppliers
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn, and a demonstrated ability to come up to speed quickly on new technologies and technical issues
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • Previous job experience with application lifecycle management tools, Polarion preferred
  • Extensive experience with product development methodologies and engineering lifecycle activities
  • Good understanding of development and operational and processes within a company

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Java, AWS cloud, Microsoft TFS, and Linux is a plus
  • Experience with waterfall project management methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Act as main point of contact for clients, providing Polarion support and facilitating interactions between customer IT department, Sterling Medical Devices, and Siemens
  • Work with clients to understand and prioritize requirements
  • Provide general administration support (configuration, workflows, reports, templates, access, permissions, etc.) to clients
  • Provide user training, develop and document best practices, and identify/implement process improvements
  • Update template/project configurations, workflows, and work item meta data
  • Coordinate security and software updates with internal IT and Siemens
  • Addressing backup, performance, and archiving of data with internal IT and Siemens
  • Developing dashboards and Live Reports that support engineering and managing needs
  • Work with internal engineering teams to define and implement processes that support the following activities for information stored within Polarion: approvals/signoff, configuration/change management, requirements management, test management, and project management
  • Partner with Polarian sales staff to provide technical demos act as subject matter expert for prospects
  • Draft requirements and test cases to validate systems and complete reports
