About The Position

This position performs administrative duties to assist with coordinating the clinical placement of students in the Nursing and Allied Health Departments.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field with a minimum of one year related experience OR bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of three years related experience OR an associate’s degree in a related degree with a minimum of five years of related experience.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Nice To Haves

• Preference may be given to candidates with knowledge or experience in academia or healthcare.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the efficient placement of Nursing and Allied Health students and faculty with our clinical partners.
• Collaborates with clinical site liaisons to ensure all student and faculty requirements are met for safe clinical placement.
• Frequently evaluates student and faculty compliance with health, safety, and documentation requirements for the clinical sites.
• Communicates any changes through designated centralized systems for the college and clinical sites.
• Coordinates and maintains agreements with clinical agencies.
• Reports any clinical issues involving students, faculty, or staff to the Dean.
• Maintains and updates databases for clinical record-keeping.
• Performs other related duties as required or as assigned.
