THE ROLE Pure Storage is looking to hire an Alliance Partner Specialist who will be responsible for developing the Commvault business at Pure Storage through program management, order and sales support, enablement training, campaign management and marketing demand generation. This highly visible role is an amazing opportunity to showcase your ability to manage and grow Pure’s cross-portfolio Data Protection business tied to Commvault. Commvault has over 12K customers, is a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for 14 consecutive years, and was honored with the “Outstanding Cyber Resilience” award from Cyber Defense Magazine’s Global InfoSec Awards in 2025.

Requirements

  • Experience in Pure Storage sales or Sales Development role
  • Proven track record of campaign creation, execution and program management
  • Solid understanding of Pure Storage Sales operations and product lines
  • Experience working with partners and evangelising them inside Pure’s North America Sales
  • Strong Salesforce knowledge and reporting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of how to work with Pure Storage Sales teams, programs and campaigns
  • Ability to support all sales groups within Pure Storage
  • Ability to execute on business plans related to Sales pipeline generation and bookings
  • Ability to create and deliver new programs/campaigns that benefit Commvault and Pure
  • Ability to capture mindshare of Pure Storage Sales teams through awareness and enablement training
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
  • Strong communication abilities between Pure and Commvault team members
  • Cross-team collaboration and motivational skills

Responsibilities

  • Drive Commvault Alliance pipeline and revenue across the Pure Storage field teams
  • Act as a liaison between Commvault and Pure Storage North America Sales teams
  • Understand and communicate Commvault’s “Value Prop” as it relates to Pure Storage’s offerings
  • Create, develop and manage programs to include Commvault in Pure Storage Sales activities
  • Collaborate and communicate across regional channel, marketing and sales teams for planning and delivery of programs
  • Develop relationships with Commvault and Pure Storage sales teams to encourage joint opportunity collaboration
  • Discover, evaluate, and recommend investment in activities which will move the pipeline and revenue contributions
  • Manage Sales and Pre-Sales relationships, multiple programs, and sales activities in a high-paced environment
  • Facilitate 10 joint account team interlocks per week between Pure Storage and Commvault account teams
