About The Position

As the Alliance Lead for the Americas, you own the ecosystem. Full stop. You'll transform early-stage partnerships into growth drivers that generate real pipeline and closed revenue. You'll sit with C-suite executives one hour and navigate technical architecture conversations the next. This isn't a coordination role. You write the playbook. You execute it. You own the outcome. Nobody is going to hand you a partner list and a set of QBR templates. You'll build the strategy, recruit the partners, and create the motions that turn them into revenue. The Americas market for real-time data processing is wide open. Ververica needs someone who sees that gap and knows exactly how to close it.

Requirements

  • You have 7+ years in enterprise software. Cloud, Big Data, or Streaming Analytics. You've taken a partnership from $0 to $10M+ or launched a new territory from scratch. You've done this before and you're choosing to do it again.
  • You speak fluently about IaaS, PaaS, and the modern data stack. You don't need to code, but you hold your own with a Solutions Architect. You understand the players, the power dynamics, and where the industry is headed.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Ecosystem from Scratch: You'll identify, recruit, and activate the technology and cloud partners that define the future of real-time data. You won't follow existing plans. You'll create multi-year joint business strategies that position Ververica at the center of the modern data stack. Every partnership you sign should have a clear path to pipeline.
  • Drive Partner Revenue: This is a hunting role. You'll spearhead co-selling motions and build partner-sourced pipeline. You will be measured on closed deals and ACV, not on the number of meetings you schedule or decks you present. Creative GTM execution is expected. "Alignment meetings" without outcomes are not.
  • Win Executive Mindshare: You'll forge relationships with C-suite and VP stakeholders at our most strategic partners. In a crowded landscape, you'll make Ververica the partner of choice. You are the face of our brand to the ecosystem. Mindshare isn't a vanity metric here. It translates directly to deal registrations and field-level advocacy.
  • Turn Partner Sales Teams into Ours: Your success depends on how many partner reps are actively selling Ververica in the field. You'll evangelize our value proposition, enable their teams, and make it easy for them to pitch us. Their sales force becomes an extension of ours. That's the multiplier.
