Ecosystems plays a central role in accelerating growth for Accenture by driving the full lifecycle of our Partner ecosystem, from setting strategy and forming Alliances to managing our Partner relationships. Our group primarily supports the Partnerships identified as priorities by Accenture Technology leadership, while also extending our capabilities to teams across the broader enterprise. You Are As a Senior Manager – Partnership Formation, you will lead strategic alliance development and partner investment initiatives that enable Accenture’s go-to-market success. This role is pivotal in shaping partnership strategies, structuring complex commercial agreements, and ensuring alignment with Accenture’s Global Ecosystem objectives. You will serve as a centralized resource for partnership formation processes, including education, strategy development, negotiation, legal collaboration, and engagement with emerging partners. Your responsibilities include enhancing and creating scalable frameworks, tools, and templates to industrialize Accenture’s partnership and partnership investment models. Additionally, you will help measure ecosystem impact through key metrics such as partner sales, revenue growth, and partner investments. The Work This position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence potential partners and senior stakeholders across Accenture’s business units. By driving disciplined processes and promoting Ecosystem best practices, you will play a critical role in accelerating Accenture innovation and growth through Global Ecosystem partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
  • Minimum 10+ years in alliance management, business development, procurement, supplier management or related fields.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with complex deal structuring preferred (including business, finance, and legal terms and associated issues)
  • Strong negotiation, executive communication, and cross-cultural collaboration
  • Issue identification, escalation and resolution.
  • Ability to effectively interface with multiple geographies and cultures at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to negotiate complex business terms with third parties as well as with key internal Accenture stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to summarize and distill key points for executive audiences.
  • Ability to effectively work with and contribute to the development of legal documents.
  • Must be able to operate in an environment with highly sensitive and confidential documents.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Ability to constantly prioritize workload based on deadlines and organizational priorities

Responsibilities

  • Structure and negotiate net new and existing relationships.
  • Provide guidance on partner investments to coincide with Accenture policy and Global Ecosystem requirements.
  • Support the Global Ecosystem as subject matter experts in all things Partnerships, Alliance, Sell-With, Pre-sales, etc. by contributing and managing Partnership related materials.
  • Support the creation of Accenture Business Group buildout.
  • Evolve existing and develop new Partnership discipline templates and tools for all stages of the Partnership and vendor investment lifecycle.
  • Communicate Accenture’s Ecosystem processes to Accenture senior leadership stakeholders from various Accenture organizations looking to leverage relationships with technology providers.
  • Provide leadership and support to other members of the Global Ecosystem community looking to leverage the available tools and templates to manage the Global Ecosystem activities within their business area.
  • Promote Global Ecosystems to the greater Accenture community by assisting in the buildout of the group’s brand and marketing.
  • Contribute to the Global Ecosystems metrics by ensuring that all relationships are selected, structured, and managed with execution excellence as well as aligned with partnerships, vendor investment and offerings strategy in mind.
  • Create internal discussion materials in support of senior leadership discussions.
  • Contribute to the creation/maintenance of the Partnership formation performance metrics.
  • Participate in the maintenance of the various scorecards reporting into the Global Ecosystem leadership team.
  • Manage and execute day-to-day activities to support key initiatives and programs, ensuring appropriate involvement across teams and among stakeholders.
  • Provide direction for global training, education, and communication activities among the Ecosystems community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across various Accenture business units and among the Ecosystem community.
  • 360 degree vendor knowledge. Including Sell-With, Sell-To, Resale, etc.
  • Solely manage special projects when required.
