About The Position

The HP Microsoft Alliance Business Development and Pricing Lead is focused on accelerating HP Windows Commercial sales at CDW through a dedicated Sales engagement and Deal facilitation business development resource. This position maintains a 3-part strategic focus: HP/CDW Windows Desktops/Notebooks/Workstations sales, All Segment SMB, Commercial, Public Sector sales, and Apple Compete lead. This person will also be responsible for the rapid execution of opportunity pricing to enable CDW to increase HP/Microsoft speed-to-price competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Experience using CPQ and pricing platforms in a B2B or partner channel environment (e.g., HP Partner IQ, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Oracle CPQ, Conga CPQ, Pricefx, Zilliant, or similar)
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • High attention to detail, particularly in pricing accuracy and technical configuration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to work with structured data and reporting
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and proactively drive change

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in channel sales, business operations, or sales support
  • Background in technology or commercial sales environments
  • Proficiency with Power BI or similar analytics tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft-based PC and Personal Compute platforms
  • Exposure to project or portfolio management (PPM) methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Act as Sales HP/MS Liaison between HP & CDW to help manage Windows Deals funnel
  • Support deal pricing & management on HP/CDW Windows quotes
  • Deal/Pricing Escalation Manager to help prioritize HP/MS/CDW speed to price
  • Facilitates HP/CDW Sales engagement on Windows opportunities
  • HP/CDW/MS Acquisition lead (Project Arrow, Project Spotlight)
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert on HP/MS Solutions and Sales Enablement Programs
  • Apple Compete initiative lead
  • Provides Sales analytics on HP/MS/CDW Business (funnel, win/loss, SWOT analysis)
  • Drive HP Windows share at and through CDW and its partners
  • Be the single point of contact of all HP Personal Systems (PC) pricing at the partner
  • Align with HP PS Category on pricing strategy
  • In business development capacity, engage with Microsoft Alliance partner channel management to drive strategic plans through the partner
  • Provide parter feedback to Microsoft Alliance channel management and assist with program tuning to better meet partner GTM needs
  • Use data to drive planning and success and leverage monthly dashboard to track progress vs. targets, identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Work within HP’s partner IQ system for the creation of product configurations and price quotes
  • Manage opportunity/deal pricing and escalations
  • Prepare and present regularly scheduled project performance reviews quarterly/yearly with key HP, Microsoft, and partner stakeholders
  • Successfully utilize, navigate, and improve CPM processes to execute speed-to-price objectives
