About The Position

Administering Immunotherapy: Preparing and giving allergy injections according to established protocols and physician's orders. Patient Monitoring: Observing patients during and after injections for any adverse reactions and providing appropriate care or escalation. Patient Education: Informing patients about the importance of following their immunotherapy schedule, potential side effects, and self-care measures. Patient Intake and Assessment: Obtaining vital signs, conducting medication reviews, and assisting patients with preparing for provider visits. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatments and progress. Vial Management: Managing immunotherapy vials, ensuring proper storage and handling. Triage and Support: Assisting with triage of allergy-related calls and providing support to patients and other clinic staff. Safety and Infection Control: Adhering to all infection control and safety protocols. Skills and Qualifications: Clinical Skills: Proficiency in administering injections, monitoring patients, and recognizing adverse reactions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Knowledge of Immunotherapy: Understanding of allergy testing, treatment protocols, and potential side effects. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage patient appointments, maintain accurate records, and prioritize tasks.
