Job Description HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Will be required to complete training Ability to identify waste streams within the areas assigned Distinguish between hazardous and non-hazardous waste and transport safely through the facility utilizing building and grounds as needed Read, understand, and follow “Waste labeling manual” Properly load waste for shipment and complete the appropriate accompanying paperwork Complete tracking of waste through various processes (non-conforming parts routing, scrap tickets, etc) Provide coverage for other positions in the department while operators are on break Maintain housekeeping on 3rd floor as outlined in SOPs Ability to operate a forklift May be required to change shifts or work overtime. May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Must wear steel-toe shoes, safety glasses and earplugs when in manufacturing area.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment and be exposed to low levels of carbon black dust, which maybe dirty.
  • Be aware of all safety regulations and the visibility of forklifts on the work floor.
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Forklift Experience

Responsibilities

  • Complete training
