About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree Required

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver Algebra II curriculum aligned with school standards and academic expectations.
Develop and implement a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Teach topics including linear and quadratic functions, polynomial and rational expressions, exponential and logarithmic functions, systems of equations, and mathematical modeling.
Incorporate technology and real-world applications to enhance student understanding.
Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
Enforce school policies and rules regarding student behavior and conduct.
Foster a supportive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
Integrate Christian principles and biblical values into lessons and classroom activities.
Encourage and model a Christ-centered lifestyle both in and out of the classroom.
Participate in school-wide faith-based activities, including chapel services and prayer meetings.
Lead daily prayer/devotional time, integrating biblical teachings into classroom discussions.
Model Christ-like behavior and values through actions and interactions with students. Exemplary behavior and character consistent with Christian values, serving as a positive role model for students both inside and outside the classroom.
Facilitate opportunities for students to explore and deepen their faith.
Establish open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior and classroom activities.
Collaborate with parents/guardians to support student learning and spiritual development.
Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences and other school events.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Stay updated on current instructional strategies and best practices in education and faith-based pedagogy.
Incorporate Bible stories, Christian values, and character education into daily lessons.
Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience and a supportive school community.
Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
Attend work regularly and is punctual.
