About The Position

Alarm Monitor Dispatch Operators (AMDO) provide a variety of dispatch services for the Center for Disaster Preparedness contract. Ensures compliance with the contract SOW: orders, policies, procedures and operations Monitors and takes the appropriate response to the campus electronic security systems and building automation systems: access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, video surveillance, building utilities, elevator monitoring, etc. Ensures compliance with the contract SOW: orders, policies, procedures and operations Receives calls via the radio and telephone Dispatch security personnel and report discrepancies for corrective action as needed Issue and account for keys and locks Makes notification to key members of the CDP staff and external support agencies (fire, police department). Prepares, generates, distributes, and files the daily security staff journal on each shift Troubleshoot and correct electronic security system malfunctions as needed Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion Perform other duties as assigned.
