How You'll Contribute: Create, support or implement Program Office internal airworthiness guidance, processes, and templates. Provide airworthiness-related advice to program managers and program engineers. Conduct airworthiness board reviews. Facilitate the program engineer’s formal coordination for the various airworthiness products, as needed. Approve airworthiness packages complete prior to coordination. Execute airworthiness processing in LCMP airworthiness Module. Maintain Airworthiness dashboard for all ongoing projects. Maintain AW-related metrics. Develop annual DTA AW-related report in accordance with AC-19-04. Ensure development, maintenance, and usage of single-location storage and archive of all airworthiness-related artifacts. Join us. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with airworthiness, MIL-HDBK-516C and systems development
  • Experience with the system engineering lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapons and test systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customers
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience with airworthiness, MIL-HDBK-516C and systems development
  • Experience with Life Cycle Management Program
  • Master's degree
