Airport Survey Mapping

LeidosSilver Spring, MD
1d$52,000 - $94,000

About The Position

The Airport Survey Mapping (ASM) team on the NISC IV contract is an Aeronautical Information team supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist the Leidos ASM team with creating Aeronautical Charts. The charts are to support the National Airspace System (NAS). The ASM Team creates and maintains electronic charts for two publications, Chart Supplement Publication and Terminal Procedures Publication. The Chart Supplement and Terminal Procedures publications are for use by pilot and air traffic controllers on a 56-day charting cycle. At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, “what’s next?” before the dust settles on “what’s now.” If you’re already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2… good. You’ll fit right in.
