Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to construct, install, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, knowledge of construction techniques, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
• Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools
• Ability to accurately measure and calculate dimensions
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good problem-solving and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans
• Construct frameworks, walls, floors, doors, windows, cabinets, and trim
• Install fixtures such as shelving, molding, drywall, and hardware
• Repair or replace damaged structures or fixtures
• Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
• Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and organized
• Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades as needed.
