What you will do: Grow in a fulfilling career as an Airport Security Screener at The Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while ensuring passenger safety by identifying dangerous objects in baggage, cargo, and/ or on the passengers themselves, and preventing those objects from being transported aboard the aircraft. Responsibilities and skills specific to this role include, but are not limited to: Passenger and Baggage screening using various electronic imaging and screening equipment Perform critical safety tasks such as conducting pat-down searches, operating x-ray machines and hand-held wands Courteously communicate and interact with travelers, providing directions and responding to inquiries calmly. Lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds or assisting others in lifting Ability to stand and remain standing for periods of up to three hours Possess proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) Ability to successfully complete required classroom and on-the-job training and certification exams

Requirements

Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
Be at least 18 years of age
Have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
Pass a computerized assessment (pattern recognition and 2D/3D spatial reasoning)
Pass and maintain required medical evaluations, including vision, hearing, and joint mobility
Pass pre-employment drug screening and remain compliant throughout employment.
Must meet eligibility requirements for a TSA Public Trust, including successful completion of post-offer background, criminal, and financial checks.
