Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government facility location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and property damage.
Monitor access points, credential checks, and restricted areas; verify deliveries and service providers follow site procedures and report irregularities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, suspicious activity, and disturbances; notify appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as needed.
Complete shift reports, incident documentation, and activity logs; communicate with supervisors, operations staff, and other Allied Universal team members to support daily site operations.
