Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, government facility policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify authorization where required, and direct individuals to appropriate screening, badging, and/or customer assistance locations per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and public agencies as directed.
Document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to the appropriate contacts.
