Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, checkpoints areas, baggage areas, curbside zones, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting and reporting unusual activity.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorized entry as directed by post orders, and help to deter unauthorized access and loitering.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with supervisors, airport operations, and/or local public agencies as needed.
Complete detailed security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observed conditions, and communicate status updates using radios, phones, and/or computer systems.
