As a Airport Security Officer - Park Team in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government airport location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, concourses, curbside areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.
  • Control access through designated doors and/or checkpoints, monitor for proper credentials, and assist with directing individuals to the appropriate public areas or services.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, disturbances, and/or fire and alarm activations, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and relay pertinent observations during shift handoff.
