About The Position

Performs facility maintenance activities at the University Airport as required for an FAA certificated airport; conducts airfield inspections and maintenance; conducts building inspections and maintenance; conducts airport grounds inspections and maintenance; assists with vehicle inspections and maintenance; assists with security and public safety functions; operates various construction equipment and vehicles; operates snow removal equipment pertaining to runways, taxiways, and airport grounds; assists with special events at the airport.

Requirements

Current valid driver's license
Must be able to pass FAA required airport driver's test within 60 days of employment

Nice To Haves

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
AAAE Basic ASOS
Familiarity with Federal Air Regulation Parts 36, 77, 14 CFR Part 139, and 150 series Advisory Circulars
Working knowledge of general trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc)
