About The Position

Oversees the operational activities for assigned area, including developing business relationships with codeshare partners, enforcing policies and procedures, managing delay investigation and dispute process, and performing Regional Shared audits. Manage Flight Delay Investigation for assigned region including delay cause assignment, dispute and resolution process. Provides training on Company procedures and ensures mainline partners and their business partners follow Republic Airways procedures for aircraft handling. Ensures compliance with all Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) that pertain to the function. Develop business relationships, as well as provide leadership and technical support to Mainline Partners and airport authorities. Regularly attend and participate in Partner Airport Ops Meetings, Functions and Tabletop Exercises to represent the company’s interests. Actively execute and report on company aircraft damage, company property damage, long tarmac delays, security events, and customer/personnel injury and irregularity event investigations. Actively support and participate in all company and airport-related Emergency Response Programs and exercises. Monitor performance, coordinate and communicate potential operational irregularities to affected departments. Conduct periodic airport site visits with Airport Operations Partners in assigned region. Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies and conduct in-depth compliance audits. Records tracks and assigns risk to compliance failures. Conducts risk-based audits and observations of mainline partner stations as part of Company ground operations oversight. Ensure corrective actions are acceptable and implemented. Provide support to all internal operational departments. Communicate all mainline partner’s changes to policies, procedures, and personnel to the appropriate internal departments. Assist with TSA and FAA inspections and implementation of corrective actions. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Requires 3 years of experience in an airline industry or customer service role.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and governmental regulations.
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Makes day-to-day decisions used to support strategic direction.
  • Decisions often require some thought and are somewhat structured.
  • Decisions tend to be short-term and usually moderate cost.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight stays.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer at least 5 years of experience in the airline industry or customer service role.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
