About The Position

The Airline Passenger Assistant, also known as the Wheelchair Agent, is responsible for providing essential support to airline passengers who require wheelchair assistance. This role is highly customer service-oriented, focusing on ensuring a positive experience for passengers while adhering to safety and security protocols. The position is part-time and includes weekend shifts, with the potential for additional earnings through tips for exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • No experience required; on-the-job training provided

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers
  • Engage in positive interpersonal interaction with passengers
  • Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes
  • Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds
  • Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary
  • Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate agents, if necessary
  • Complete thorough incident reports
