Together. .This position has a base compensation range of $55,000.00 to $75,000.00. The AF Pricing & Tender Management Specialist is dedicated to providing expertise in a specific area, supporting the organization’s objectives through the application of specialized knowledge and skills. This role focuses on delivering high quality results in their area of expertise and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
2-3 years of prior quotation experience to customers and overseas offices
At least 2 years international air freight operations with import/export knowledge
Understanding of various components required for international air freight shipments.
Prior experience in managing customer bid boards.
Organizational skills
Time management and prioritization
Customer-focused
Able to recognize trends & recommend price adjustments.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as freight rates, discounts, and other percentages.
Analytical skills / problem-solving ability
Strong written and verbal skills communication skills in English in order to present information to customers, management, and subordinates in a professional setting.
Adaptable / flexible to high-pressured environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Email, and Internet
Confidence to make decisions, influence across reporting lines.
Ability to analyze scope of service and determine corresponding operational costs.
Basic knowledge of dangerous goods
Knowledge of various aircraft space, weight and size limitations
Knowledge of regulatory environment affecting air shipments
Procurement experience is required.
Frequently required to stand, and walk
Regularly required to sit for extended periods
Regularly uses arms to reach, hands and fingers for computer and phone use
Speaking clearly and listening for heavy phone contact
Requires close-up and computer screen distance vision ability

Responsibilities

Managing and offering air pricing quotations to external customers utilizing bid board channels.
Working with area procurement (US Gateways) to support US airfreight pricing activities.
Addressing any possible problems when transmitting information through customer portal.
Developing and maintaining relationships with all relevant stakeholders, e.g., sales, US stations, country, and regional airfreight teams
Collaborating with business owners to develop, maintain and support pricing activities strategically scaled to customer/opportunity size.
Working with Automotive vertical to maximize range of profitable opportunities for the organization.
Understanding airfreight market and maintaining strong knowledge regarding pricing solutions
Coordinating shipments with operations to ensure smooth execution within bid parameters.
Performing other duties as assigned.
